A debate has been going on in America about the (so-called) War on Drugs' success and approach--but more importantly, how this "war" impacts our family, community and ourselves. The recently founded Broken No More organization is addressing that concern through their new website created by dot org Web Works.
To communicate with their supporters and event patrons, BNM has employed the use of a weblog module within their Home page’s news (“Articles’”) column. Here one not only gets the scoop on BNM's news and upcoming events, but they can share their knowledge and enthusiasm via the Comments function. Additional news on drug use, abuse and treatment streams continually onto the Home page via an RSS news feed.
Searching the website has been made faster and easier. No longer does page information have to pass through Google’s machinery to get indexed. The Predictive search function used in this website offers up immediate results as one types. Also, sharing a page with others within one’s personal network is available with a Bookmark & Share plug-in that offers up a list of all top social-networking sites for one to “share.” Options include Facebook, Twitter and hundreds more.
